Chapter 150: Overwhelming Annihilation
Watching the towering figure before them, Liu Jingjing and Tang Xin stared in disbelief.
Was that man even human?
With a single punch, he had wrecked a car hurtling toward him at full speed. He stood there completely unharmed, not so much as a scratch on him.
Anyone who witnessed such a scene would find it impossible to believe. It seemed like something straight out of a science-fiction film, yet it had happened right before their eyes.
Liu Jingjing rubbed her eyes, afraid she was seeing things.
But the scene before her was undeniably real.
She had known Yang Fan was formidable, that he could fight. She had never imagined he could be this powerful.
Just think of the force of a small car barreling toward someone at full speed. Anyone it hit would be crushed to pieces.
Yet Yang Fan had smashed the car apart with one punch and remained unharmed, standing exactly where he had been, his feet rooted to the ground.
The power in that punch had been so fierce it inspired sheer terror.
Turning to the two men sprawled on the ground, Yang Fan fixed them with a cold gaze, his eyes brimming with a chilling intent to kill.
When the two met that emotionless stare, fear welled up inside them. They could feel the danger pressing in.
There was murder in his eyes.
They could sense it.
Their bodies were tough enough to keep them from breaking bones in the fall, but the pain of hitting the ground was still excruciating. It would take a while to subside.
On high alert, they watched Yang Fan’s every move.
As killers, they could tell at once that the young man before them was dangerous.
Facing him, they felt as though a mountain were crushing their chests, making it hard to breathe.
Yang Fan walked toward them one step at a time. Each footfall rang in their hearts like a death knell.
Then, in a flash, he darted forward.
At that instant, a bullet whistled past and struck a boulder.
A sniper!
That was Yang Fan’s first thought.
The shooter was beyond the range of his spiritual sense, which meant the sniper was more than two hundred meters away.
Without hesitation, Yang Fan’s aura surged as he charged at Harry and his companion.
He moved so fast that neither man could follow his path.
Reacting on instinct, Harry threw a punch to his right.
The blow met nothing but air.
A powerful strike slammed into Harry’s head, and his skull burst apart.
The instant he had landed the blow, Yang Fan darted away again, evading the sniper’s next shot.
Before the sniper could fire once more, Yang Fan was already beside the other man, driving a ferocious punch toward him.
“Go to hell!” The white man flew into a rage and charged at Yang Fan, intent on meeting him head-on.
But to Yang Fan, the man’s strength was no more than an ant’s—utterly insignificant.
Their fists collided. Bones snapped. A scream followed, and then came a heavy thud. A hole had been punched through the white man’s chest, his heart obliterated.
The fight was over in the blink of an eye, leaving no one time to react.
At the sight of the gruesome scene, Liu Jingjing and Tang Xin both shrieked in terror.
It was too disgusting, too bloody. Neither of the delicate young women had ever seen anything like it. How could they possibly bear it?
Tang Xin nearly vomited.
They covered their eyes, unable to look any longer.
“Big Loss, Harry and Wayne are dead.” On a rise nearby, a man pulled out his radio and spoke in a voice full of fear.
“Damn it!” Big Loss roared when he heard that his men were dead.
He knew how capable Harry and Wayne were. He just hadn’t expected them to be killed so quickly.
“Take him out!” Big Loss bellowed.
At the order, the sniper on the rise immediately took aim at Yang Fan and began firing.
Through the scope, he saw Yang Fan’s cold, indifferent eyes. His heart skipped a beat.
Then Yang Fan vanished from his sight.
The sniper hurriedly searched for him and saw him racing toward his position.
His location had been exposed.
“I’d like to see what you can do,” the sniper snarled, rousing his own bloodlust as he fired at Yang Fan.
But every shot missed.
Each time he got a bead on his target and was about to pull the trigger, Yang Fan would suddenly disappear, as if warned in advance.
Yang Fan moved in a zigzag, closing in on the sniper’s position at incredible speed.
Whenever a shot rang out, the bullet whistled past him.
If he had been even a fraction slower, it would have struck him.
He seemed to possess the power of foresight, sensing danger and dodging each attack before it came.
As the distance between them shrank, the sniper felt the pressure mounting. He could sense danger drawing closer.
He hurriedly abandoned his original position, moving to find somewhere better to hide.
But when he reached a new spot and tried to take aim at Yang Fan, his target had vanished, as if he had disappeared into thin air.
“Damn it,” the sniper muttered.
At the end of his tether, he searched frantically for Yang Fan.
Then a cold voice spoke from behind him.
“Looking for me?”
At the deathly chill in that voice, the sniper’s first thought was, I’m done for.
He hadn’t even had time to turn around and see who was behind him when a punch blew his head apart.
After dealing with the sniper, Yang Fan immediately returned.
When he got back, he saw a white man standing in front of Tang Xin’s car. Nearby, Tang Xin and Liu Jingjing were bound together, terror written across their faces.
The man was powerfully built, his bulging muscles radiating explosive strength. His hulking physique alone was imposing.
Together with his vicious face, he looked like a ruthless criminal.
“You killed my brothers. I’ll settle that score with you in due time.” Big Loss glared at Yang Fan, his eyes hard with menace. “I’ll break your bones one by one.”
“Idiot,” Yang Fan said coldly.
He called Big Loss an idiot because all he had done was tie up Liu Jingjing and Tang Xin. He hadn’t taken them hostage to use as leverage.
Perhaps Big Loss thought that was confidence. To Yang Fan, it was just stupidity.
Without hostages, Big Loss was as good as dead.
“I’d like to see just how strong you are!” Big Loss roared, charging at Yang Fan with the force of a mountain.
His muscles rippled as if they were alive.
Yang Fan’s gaze narrowed. His aura turned razor-sharp, his expression cold and impassive.
They closed in on each other. Big Loss threw a punch, the blow carrying a fierce gust of wind that whistled through the air.
Yang Fan easily dodged it and drove his right fist hard into Big Loss’s chest.
The impact rang out like a great bronze bell.
The force sent Big Loss’s massive frame stumbling backward. He nearly fell.
Yang Fan’s first punch hadn’t killed him. His eyes narrowed, and surprise flickered through him.
If Big Loss could withstand one of his punches, his body was exceptionally tough.
But Big Loss was in no shape to celebrate. A piercing pain tore through his chest. He spat out a mouthful of blood, his face turning pale.
A feverish excitement shone in his eyes. “Not hard enough! Come on, again!”
He charged at Yang Fan once more, a cruel smile curling his lips, bloodlust gleaming in his eyes.
Yang Fan’s aura rose again. A faint golden light glimmered around his fist as a torrent of power gathered in it.
The two clashed once more.
Big Loss’s punch missed. A fresh stab of pain tore through his chest, and he spat out another mouthful of blood.
He looked down and saw a hole in his chest.
His expression froze, and he toppled backward.
Yang Fan’s fist was completely clean, without a trace of blood.
Without sparing Big Loss’s corpse another glance, he went to Liu Jingjing and Tang Xin and untied them.
“You scared me half to death.” Liu Jingjing threw herself into Yang Fan’s arms, wrapping both arms around his waist. Fear still lingered in her face.
When Big Loss had grabbed her, she had thought she was going to die. Thank goodness Yang Fan had been there.
Tang Xin stood to one side, watching Yang Fan, her mind full of questions.
She could not understand what kind of person he was, or how he could be so strong.
“It’s all right now. You’re safe.” Yang Fan patted Liu Jingjing on the back and comforted her.
He glanced at the heavy truck blocking the middle of the road, walked over, and moved it aside.
Then Yang Fan drove away in Tang Xin’s Ferrari.
Before long, news of Big Loss and his men’s deaths reached the headquarters of the Greedy Wolf organization.
“An outrage! This is a disgrace to the Greedy Wolf!” Black Wolf snarled, fury filling his eyes. “I’m going to the Divine Land myself.”
The moment Black Wolf declared that he would go to the Divine Land in person, everyone knew that his anger had reached its limit.
