"Hello! I am the bodyguard hired by Mr. Tang."

Yang Fan took out his phone and made the call. The person on the other end was an elderly man who, upon learning that Yang Fan was the bodyguard hired by Tang Tianrong for his daughter, told him to wait at the gate. About two minutes later, a man in his fifties walked out. He looked vigorous and seasoned, carrying an air of experience.

The moment Yang Fan saw him, he knew the man was a practitioner of martial arts, as he possessed the distinct aura of a fighter—a presence he could not conceal, as he had not yet reached the level of being able to suppress his energy at will.

"Mr. Yang Fan, I presume?" The man walked to the gate, opened it, and fixed his gaze on Yang Fan.

Yang Fan nodded and presented his identification for verification. Once his identity was confirmed, the man led him inside.

"I am the butler here. You may call me Uncle Zhong," the man said as he led the way, introducing himself. He felt a hint of surprise; Yang Fan was far too young—only twenty years old. Tang Tianrong had specifically sought a highly skilled bodyguard for his only beloved daughter, and to Uncle Zhong, Yang Fan seemed excessively youthful. Could such a young man really protect the young lady? Uncle Zhong was full of doubt. During the last attack, the assailants had been formidable; if not for the sacrifice of over thirty bodyguards, they would have succeeded.

"I will call you Uncle Zhong, then," Yang Fan replied.

While Uncle Zhong was leading Yang Fan in, two young women were busy plotting a prank. In the luxurious hall, Tang Xin sat with her best friend. Tang Xin wore a white shirt with a slightly open collar, revealing a glimpse of snowy skin along her fair neck. Her white shorts showcased long, slender legs with skin so luminous it seemed to possess a spiritual charm, enough to make one's pulse race.

The other girl, who was sixteen or seventeen, had a porcelain-doll face and looked incredibly cute, her large, round eyes blinking with a mischievous spark. She wore a pink T-shirt that struggled to contain her ample bosom, which seemed ready to burst forth with every movement. As she sat on the sofa, her small, delicate feet dangled and swayed. This was Liu Jingjing, Tang Xin's best friend.

"Jingjing, why are you just sitting there? Come help me; I can't do this alone," Tang Xin said, standing by the door with a plastic basin in her hands, looking at Liu Jingjing with dissatisfaction.

Blinking, Liu Jingjing flashed a mischievous grin. She snapped her fingers and hurried over. "Hee hee, since you're pranking someone, I'll help. I want to see how good this bodyguard really is."

With her small feet pattering against the floor, Liu Jingjing grabbed a chair and ran toward Tang Xin. As she moved, her chest bounced vigorously, as if trying to break free from her clothes.

"Hurry, place the chair properly," Tang Xin urged.

After Liu Jingjing positioned the chair, she stepped back and watched with her arms crossed. Closing the door until only a narrow gap remained, Tang Xin climbed onto the chair and balanced the flour-filled basin on top of the door frame.

"Done! Now we just wait to see that guy make a fool of himself," Tang Xin said, clapping her hands, quite satisfied with her masterpiece.

"Tang Xin, is this really a good idea? If Uncle Tang finds out, you're going to get scolded," Liu Jingjing said, her eyes darting around. "After all, he's here to be your bodyguard." Despite her words, she was secretly excited; she loved such pranks.

"What's there to be afraid of? If he can't even notice this, does he really have the right to be my bodyguard?" Tang Xin dismissed the concern. "Come on, let's go sit and wait for him to arrive." She pulled Liu Jingjing to the sofa, and the two sat there, eyes glued to the door.

"Mr. Yang, the young lady is inside. Please go in," Uncle Zhong said, bringing Yang Fan to the door before leaving him to enter alone. He would have liked to escort him in, but Tang Xin had insisted that Yang Fan enter by himself, so he had to wait outside.

Yang Fan nodded and walked in. As he approached the entrance, he immediately sensed something was wrong and gave a cold, internal sneer. Remaining composed, he walked forward and pushed the door open.

"Yeah!"

The moment the door opened, Tang Xin and Liu Jingjing knew their target was about to suffer. They jumped up in excitement, hugging each other. But their triumph was short-lived. As the door swung open, the basin full of flour plummeted. Just as it was about to hit Yang Fan, he seemed to have eyes on the top of his head; he stepped back and kicked out with lightning speed.

*Bang!* The flour-filled basin soared through the air in a magnificent arc, striking Tang Xin and Liu Jingjing—who were still hugging in celebration—with pinpoint accuracy. Flour erupted like snow, instantly engulfing them both.

Standing at the doorway, Yang Fan watched the two snow-white figures with a calm expression. Tang Xin and Liu Jingjing were stunned. They were covered from head to toe in white flour, their hair turned completely gray, looking utterly ridiculous.

"Ahhh..."

After the initial shock, both girls let out shrill screams and bolted toward the bathroom. Hearing the commotion, Uncle Zhong rushed in and saw the two girls in their disheveled state.

"Those two restless little troublemakers," Uncle Zhong said, shaking his head with a wry smile. "I apologize for the display, Mr. Yang."

Yang Fan shrugged nonchalantly. "It's nothing. I'm fine." How could such childish tricks work on him? That kick had been intentional; if they wanted to play games, they had to accept the consequences. He was here to be a bodyguard, not a playmate, and certainly not a target for their schemes. Yang Fan was never one to fear trouble.

"Mr. Yang, please take a seat over there. We'll talk once the young lady comes back out," Uncle Zhong said, leading him to a chair and ordering the servants to clean up the flour.

About an hour later, Tang Xin and Liu Jingjing finally emerged from the bathroom.

"You hateful jerk! I'm going to tear you apart!" Tang Xin roared the moment she saw Yang Fan, her eyes burning with rage. She was furious that her own prank had backfired, and she was certain Yang Fan had done it on purpose.

"Go for it, Tang Xin! Teach that awful guy a lesson!" Liu Jingjing cheered, waving her fists in support.

Seeing Tang Xin lunging toward him with claws bared, Yang Fan remained calm and sat unmoved on the sofa.

"Miss, please don't be rash! He is the bodyguard hired by your father," Uncle Zhong hurried over to intervene. If Yang Fan fought back, Tang Xin would be no match for him, and besides, the fault lay entirely with her.

Being stopped, Tang Xin was incredibly frustrated. "Uncle Zhong, I want a replacement! I don't want him as my bodyguard!"
