Yang Fan watched everything unfold with cold indifference, showing no intention of intervening. The other passengers on the bus dared not make a sound. Lin Susu, unable to break free from her captor, was gripped by fear. She cast a desperate, pleading look at the other passengers, hoping someone would stand up for her, but no one moved; they all wore expressions of detached apathy, as if the matter had nothing to do with them.

"Tsk, tsk. You’ve got a nice figure, well-developed, and that ass is big—it must be quite bouncy," the yellow-haired youth remarked with a lecherous grin. He stepped in front of Lin Susu and reached out to touch her.

Watching him approach, Lin Susu felt a surge of nervous terror and was at a loss for what to do. Then, fueled by a sudden, inexplicable spark of courage, she lashed out with a kick. Her foot struck the yellow-haired youth square in the crotch.

"Ouch! Fuck!" The thug howled in agony, clutching his groin and stumbling backward.

The onlookers gasped, chilled by the sight. That kick was vicious. The youth’s face twisted in pain, and tears welled in his eyes; it was a bone-deep, excruciating hurt. Once he caught his breath, he cursed at Lin Susu, "You bitch, I’m going to kill you today!" He pulled out a dagger, ready to use it.

Seeing the blade, Lin Susu’s face turned deathly pale. Perhaps driven by the sheer terror of the moment, her hidden potential flared. As the youth lunged at her, she struck again, landing another solid kick. The unlucky youth took the blow to his stomach and staggered backward, falling directly toward Yang Fan.

As the youth toppled over, Yang Fan lazily swung his leg out.

"Oh, mother of god!" The youth screamed as he was sent flying to the side. He slammed into a handrail with such force that it felt as if his body were shattering.

The passengers were stunned, their gazes shifting to Yang Fan in shock. To kick a man so hard he went flying—that required incredible strength.

"You’re fucking asking for it!" The yellow-haired youth, already furious, was now humiliated beyond measure by Yang Fan’s intervention. Seething with rage, he charged at Yang Fan with his dagger, determined to make him bleed.

When the other passengers saw the blade coming, the timid girls on the bus screamed and covered their eyes, afraid to look. Yang Fan just sneered at the man daring to attack him.

Just as the youth closed to within a step of Yang Fan, he felt an agonizing pain in his groin, and his entire body was sent hurtling backward, crashing into a seat with such impact that it nearly broke. Clutching his crotch, the youth opened his mouth to scream but could make no sound; the pain was too intense. He felt as though his testicles had been completely crushed—that he was destined to live as a eunuch. His eyes rolled back, and he lost consciousness.

"You little brat, you're dead!" The burly middle-aged man saw his companion knocked out and flew into a rage. He released Lin Susu and charged at Yang Fan like a collapsing mountain.

Yang Fan didn't even raise an eyelid. He remained detached, not even bothering to look at the man. As the brute reached him, he swung a fist the size of a bowl with enough force to whistle through the air. Had this blow landed on an ordinary person, it would have left them incapacitated for days.

Without looking, Yang Fan casually extended his palm and caught the incoming fist with surgical precision. The man tried to pull his hand away, but it was useless. He realized his fist was held as if clamped in a vice of iron. He knew he had encountered a master.

Desperate, he lashed out with a kick, but Yang Fan gave him no chance. With a sudden, forceful movement of the hand that held the man, Yang Fan lifted the burly figure into the air with one arm and slammed him down hard.

*Bang!*

A loud thud shook the bus, making it feel as if it were about to fall apart. The middle-aged man let out a howl, lying on the floor in agony, unable to rise.

Having taken down both attackers, Yang Fan suddenly became a hero in the eyes of the passengers. Several young women, captivated by his handsome face, began secretly snapping photos with their phones.

*You can’t judge a book by its cover,* was the consensus among the passengers. Though Yang Fan stood only about 1.78 meters tall and appeared lean, his explosive power was terrifying. His strength was entirely at odds with his appearance.

Looking at the handsome Yang Fan, Lin Susu felt a mix of astonishment and disbelief. She felt a twinge of resentment—why hadn't he acted sooner? If he had intervened earlier, she wouldn't have had to endure such terror.

"Passengers, we have arrived at Songlu Station. Please prepare to disembark."

Hearing the announcement, Yang Fan stood up to leave, ignoring the stares of the people around him. Two hundred meters past Songlu Station lay the White Tiger Mountain residential area, a district filled exclusively with high-end villas. Only the wealthy and powerful lived here—the elites of Kyoto.

"Hey, wait!"

A melodious voice rang out behind him. Yang Fan knew someone was calling him. He turned to see the beautiful girl who had been harassed on the bus. Frowning slightly, he asked, "What is it?"

"Thank you for helping me. May I ask your name?" Lin Susu asked, flashing a sweet smile while her eyes lingered on his handsome face.

"No need," Yang Fan replied coldly before turning and walking away. They were strangers, and he had no interest in further conversation.

Lin Susu stood frozen, stunned by his indifference. Only after Yang Fan had walked some distance did she snap out of it. She glanced down at her own well-developed, curvaceous figure and her shapely hips, then checked her reflection in a small mirror—her face was exquisite, breathtakingly beautiful. Yet, this guy hadn't shown the slightest interest.

It was a massive blow to her ego. Was she really that ugly in his eyes?

"That guy must be frigid," she muttered, waving a small, frustrated fist at his departing back. She remained absolutely confident in her beauty; after all, she was the undisputed campus belle, with a small army of suitors trailing her. Yet, she had been rebuffed by Yang Fan.

"The spiritual energy is quite dense here," Yang Fan remarked, stopping in his tracks. His eyes widened as he looked toward the mountain in the distance. He could sense that the spiritual energy on that peak was far more concentrated than anywhere else.

Curious, Yang Fan headed toward the mountain. Along the way, he learned it was called White Tiger Mountain. At its summit stood two luxurious villas. Standing atop the peak, he confirmed that the spiritual energy was indeed exceptionally rich. After observing his surroundings, he realized why the place was unique.

"The Tiger Roars in the Mountains and Forests," Yang Fan murmured, a corner of his mouth curling into a smile of excitement. White Tiger Mountain was the highest and grandest peak in the area. All the surrounding mountains were shorter, highlighting its majestic, kingly aura. The spiritual energy of heaven and earth gathered at the summit, creating a misty, ethereal atmosphere that felt like a fairyland on earth.

"I must have this place," Yang Fan resolved silently. He was determined to possess this treasure. He decided that he would own those two villas at the top of White Tiger Mountain.

Descending the mountain, Yang Fan followed the address to his destination: the Tang family estate.
