Liu Mengjie paused for a moment before saying, "Boss, you don't need to worry about management. I will give it my all and will not let down your expectations. I want to upgrade both the software and hardware, while also increasing our services and exploring new areas, for instance..."

"You don't need to report that to me." Chen Hao interrupted her again.

Liu Mengjie felt a bit lost, thinking she had said the wrong thing. She looked up at her young, handsome boss, wondering what he was actually thinking.

Chen Hao had zero interest in business operations. What he cared about was spending money—specifically, how to spend it as quickly as possible so that Liu Mengjie would drive the hotel into the ground.

"Managing the hotel is your responsibility. I won't interfere. You only need to tell me what you need me to do."

Liu Mengjie said in a low voice, "The hotel's cash flow is currently facing some issues..."

"How much do you need? Just give me a number."

Liu Mengjie was starting to get confused. This boss seemed completely indifferent to the hotel's development; all he cared about was money. She didn't dare to ask for tens of millions on the spot.

Seeing that she remained silent, Chen Hao said, "Tomorrow, I’ll have the Jingzhou branch of the Imperial Capital Bank wire you one hundred million. Is that enough?"

Startled, Liu Mengjie quickly replied, "That won't be necessary."

"Remember, do not skimp. If you’re going to do it, do it the best. Just ask if you need more."

Liu Mengjie was stunned. Other bosses were always obsessed with how to make money, but this one was entirely focused on how to spend it. She made a silent vow to herself that she would never betray his trust.

Chen Hao looked at the breathtakingly beautiful Liu Mengjie and felt a stir of excitement. However, he could tell she wasn't a casual woman, and besides, he was the type of man who had the desire but lacked the nerve.

"Manager Liu, are you satisfied with your salary?"

Liu Mengjie said, visibly moved, "Boss, my previous monthly salary was only fifteen thousand. You’ve raised it more than tenfold—isn't that a bit too much?"

"I think it’s too little. I only did it that way to balance the morale of the other staff. I’ll give you a bonus later."

Liu Mengjie thought she had misheard. How could such a generous boss exist in this world? She was overwhelmed with emotion. At only twenty-eight, she was already the General Manager of the Jingzhou Grand Hotel; it was a great honor and the dream she had pursued her entire life.

"Boss, let me show you your bedroom. If you aren't satisfied, I'll rearrange it."

"Alright." Chen Hao stood up and followed her to the bedroom. As he entered, Liu Mengjie watched his expression carefully, fearing he might be displeased.

The room was spacious, cozy, and elegant, with every detail reflecting meticulous care. Chen Hao looked around and nodded slightly, seemingly quite satisfied with the environment.

As he turned, he felt his arm brush against something soft. He realized he had touched Liu Mengjie’s chest. She lowered her head in shyness. Chen Hao could feel the firm elasticity and knew the texture must be wonderful.

In college, Chen Hao had dated a girl from the countryside, but she was nowhere near as refined as Liu Mengjie. After graduation, he met Zhao Yali. She was not only beautiful but also elegant and noble, causing Chen Hao to fall completely under her spell. He pursued her for a year before she finally agreed to be with him.

Chen Hao had exhausted all his resources to satisfy Zhao Yali’s vanity. Later, when he was promoted to a corporate executive and his salary increased significantly, the Zhao family began to leech off him. He lived frugally just to satisfy their vanity, only to realize he was nothing more than a cash machine for the Zhaos—a pawn to be played with, summoned and dismissed at will.

Most infuriatingly, Zhao Yali wouldn't even let him hold her hand, claiming she would give him everything on their wedding night. Who could have imagined that the thing Chen Hao dreamed of day and night had already been given to Young Master Zhou long ago? It was a colossal joke, the greatest humiliation of his life.

Chen Hao’s mind was pulled back from his memories to reality. He looked at Liu Mengjie, a surge of complex emotions rising within him. She was even more beautiful and more seductive than Zhao Yali.

At that moment, the words of the old man with the white beard echoed in his mind—that he wasn't a man, that he had no balls, and that he was only fit to squat and pee like a woman.

The inferiority and anger deep within Chen Hao intertwined. Looking at the incredibly alluring Liu Mengjie before him, he could no longer control his emotions. He reached out, wrapped his right arm around her waist, and pulled her in, their chests pressing against each other.

Liu Mengjie kept her head lowered, not daring to meet his eyes, but she made no move to resist. Chen Hao could feel her immense softness, his male hormones surging rapidly.

In that instant, the coldness and humiliation in Chen Hao’s heart seemed to melt away in the warmth and softness. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm the storm within. He could hear Liu Mengjie’s heartbeat; it was racing.

"Gulp!" Liu Mengjie swallowed hard, the sound quite audible. Seeing her sensual, moist lips, Chen Hao leaned in and pressed his own against them. She did not resist, though her response was clumsy. Chen Hao was puzzled—could it be that she didn't even know how to kiss?

He pushed forward, step by step. He began to undo her buttons. Liu Mengjie raised her hand to hold his, but just as he was about to stop, she suddenly let go—perhaps it was an instinctual reaction.

Chen Hao laid her on the bed. Liu Mengjie simply kept her eyes tightly shut, appearing deeply shy. Her demeanor only excited him more; he wanted to conquer her completely and make the old man with the white beard shut his mouth for good.

Chen Hao struggled to open his eyes; it was broad daylight, and the sun was shining onto the bed through the curtains. He turned his head to see Liu Mengjie still fast asleep, a faint flush on her face. He held her and kissed her.

Liu Mengjie opened her eyes and said, "Boss, you're awake?"

Chen Hao nodded.

"Boss, I'll go prepare breakfast for you." As she said this, she broke free from his embrace and got out of bed. The moment her feet touched the floor, her body buckled downward. She used her hands to steady herself against the bed, struggling to stand up; she seemed to be in significant discomfort.

Chen Hao was curious, thinking it was a bit exaggerated—surely it shouldn't be that bad. Yet, remembering the events of the night before—they had gone to bed before dark and he had lost count of how many times they had been together—he realized he had released three years of pent-up frustration, pouring it all into her.

It was time to get up. Chen Hao pulled back the covers and sat up. Suddenly, he caught sight of a distinct mark on the snow-white sheets and realized what it meant. His heart tightened, and he muttered to himself, "Did I cause trouble last night?"

He felt a pang of regret. A complex wave of emotion washed over him. The more he thought about it, the more wrong it felt. Liu Mengjie had given him her virginity—should he be responsible for her?

How difficult! Chen Hao had absolutely no such intentions. He dared not think any further.
