The rain had stopped by last night, leaving today bathed in a brilliant, clear sun. The soil of Yuejian remained damp and freshly turned; after the rain, Yuejian looked translucent and vibrantly green, lifting its thin veil to reveal an extraordinary, striking beauty.
Yet, even though the immortal spirits held a distinct upper hand, with a mere casual wave of the Demon Emperor’s hand, that advantage vanished into thin air.
"I'll go ask about this again." After about the time it takes to brew a cup of tea, a wisp of black aura drifted over from that side. Black Impermanence raised his nose and inhaled the dark aura into his body, trembling slightly.
A powerful aura radiated outward, and an extremely dense concentration of deathly primordial energy surged around Tianxuan, instantly claiming half the sky.
Li Xixi keenly noticed the repetition implied by that single word: was it mist, light, or perhaps another strange phenomenon altogether?
Ye Qingcheng watched the demonic beast's raw and direct emotions, feeling a sudden urge to smile. At times, she felt that demonic beasts were far more endearing than humans, who were perpetually entangled in schemes and plots.
Li Xixi sighed in admiration, marveling that the back peak of Sword Ridge possessed such breathtaking scenery—truly a masterpiece crafted by heaven and earth, gathering the very essence of nature.
Xuan Xiaofu stated, "After the September 18 Incident, the Japanese devils occupied the Northeast. Chiang Kai-shek, wishing to preserve his military strength, foolishly believed the devils would not invade further south. Facts speak louder than words, however, and the advance of the devils into Rehe never ceased."
As it turned out, Li Xixi had been deeply engrossed in sword practice when she suddenly heard Qu Yiyi's voice. A surge of anger instantly welled up within her, causing her parting sword to slip from her grasp. It halted abruptly just as its tip was about to pierce the center of her brow. Of course, had this taken place within the Misty Separation Valley, a corpse would undoubtedly have already been left upon the ground.
As he spoke, Wu Xie’s lips curled into a cold, contemptuous sneer. From the look in his eyes, it was clear he harbored a deep aversion and disgust for these ghost-cultivators, believing himself to be vastly superior, more righteous, and upright.
The Great Chimpanzee King’s innate ultimate technique was cut from the same cloth as the Monkey King’s: both involved massive physical expansion, vastly enhanced strength, and impenetrable defense. Every single hair on his body was now as rigid and unyielding as a steel needle.
Jia Qing wriggled her body, stoking Li Tao’s rising anger until he violently tore apart her expensive pajamas.

"That fellow probably ran down in a panic," Yan Yun figured. Yet, the fat man's actions had been somewhat abnormal, so it was only natural for him to feel afraid.
"Alright, I believe you. I never expected that a few lingering shreds of humanity could actually drive you to protect them." Though difficult to credit, Yan Yun chose to believe it after the explanations provided by several zombies.
Di Chongxiao reached out his hand without a moment's hesitation. When the dragon skeleton and his fingertips touched, a spark of spiritual light burst forth. Once it dissipated, Di Chongxiao’s sleeve was in shreds, and a dragon-shaped tattoo had materialized on his arm, winding downward with the dragon’s head resting upon his hand and its tail coiling around his forearm.
I raised my head at the sound to see Jin Yexuan leaning against the wall, his hair still wet and wearing a simple white T-shirt. I nodded awkwardly.
Zhao Hui and Li Zhenguo returned to the camel-riding area, mounted camels alongside the other tourists, and headed toward the exit of the scenic spot. Reaching the exit, they dismounted, removed their boots, put on their shoes, and took the tourist shuttle back to the sand-sliding attraction.
You may not know this—and whether you do or not—I will always... Perhaps you dislike making promises, but I am willing to continue my own way, regardless of whether you like it or not.
I waved goodbye to them, a persistent, inexplicable feeling lingering in my heart that we would rarely, if ever, gather together again.
Zhao Hui pulled out her camera and said to Su Li, "Su Li, take a picture of me." Su Li took the camera, snapped a photo of Zhao Hui, and then joined the classmates for a group picture.
"Taiyin Yuanjun? The God of Death? The God of Thunder?" Qin Yunyao felt her head spinning; it was all far too complicated.
"Let's find a safe place to talk." Gong Yi nodded slightly and led Chu Mengxun and the others forward.
She had never seen anyone suffer pain to the extent Nan Shu did. The crucial part was that she was only delaying her filming schedule, yet even in this state, she insisted on continuing to work.
Knowing that Fang Dongping enjoyed drinking, Li Yu had specifically requested two bottles of Yanghe Daqu. While Yanghe Daqu could not compare to Moutai or Wuliangye, it was still unquestionably a high-end liquor.

Xia Mu finished recounting past events in just a few brief sentences, yet Yun Jinxiu failed to glean any information of greater value.
One had to remember that the Holy Cavalry Alliance had once been a renowned and terrifying organization in the West. And now? It had been utterly eradicated by her own hands.
Of the other two, one wielded a long spear and the other a hooked sickle. Both were clad in full armor, radiating an oppressive, murderous aura.
With such formidable spatial turbulence acting as a barrier, attempting to enter that spatial vortex and open the gateway was by no means an easy task.
After being shattered by Yang Xu, the white cloud and mist coalesced once more into a human face not far away, displaying an expression of sheer astonishment.
Upon witnessing this gesture, Qin Yunyao instantly thought of a character named Kakyoin Noriaki from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 3, which she had recently drawn—that fellow probably licked cherries with a similar sensation.
The person was none other than Liu Yong. At this very moment, as Liu Yong witnessed the scene unfold, he finally vented the stifled air from his chest. He comfortably rolled his neck from side to side, then looked toward the arena at the figure currently having his throat mercilessly crushed—a person whose fate, compared to his own, was as different as heaven and earth.
Had it relied solely on sword flight, Qi Cai could have easily sustained the consumption by circulating the Heavenly Dao Zhen Tian Art to recover his true Qi. However, combined with the Stealth Technique, he had been forced to stop and rest several times along the way to restore his Qi before finally reaching his destination.
Yet the cultivation technique and the great cauldron belonged to him alone; even now, despite his repeated summons, they remained completely motionless—seemingly unwilling to intervene, and perhaps powerless to help.
Time, after all, has the power to change everything. Sooner or later, I will make this Taotie alter its attitude toward me; otherwise, what dignity would I have left as a village chief? I can only hope to find an opportunity in the future.
