Yun Qianbai rampaged through the auction house, striking anyone he saw without mercy. Like a frenzied beast, his eyes bloodshot, he exuded a terrifying aura. Those who tried to stop him were without exception beaten to the ground, groaning in pain.

The commotion quickly drew the attention of the Hidden Sect’s experts. After all, this auction house was their territory—no one was allowed to run wild here. Soon, a group of Hidden Sect masters arrived with fierce intent, surrounding Yun Qianbai.

“You brat, are you tired of living? How dare you cause trouble on the Hidden Sect’s turf!” the leader shouted angrily.

Yun Qianbai sneered with disdain. “The Hidden Sect? So impressive?”

With that, he vanished into the crowd. Though the Hidden Sect had many members, their strength varied; most were mere novices who had just entered the Innate Realm, no match for Yun Qianbai.

He fought with fists and feet, each strike brimming with tremendous power, felling the Hidden Sect masters one by one.

“This kid is a bit uncanny!” one Hidden Sect master gasped, clutching his chest in terror.

“Attack together! I don’t believe he can turn the tide!” another snarled.

Yet no matter how hard they tried, not a single blow touched Yun Qianbai. Instead, he grew more fearless, his aura growing ever stronger.

At that moment, a figure stepped out from the crowd, dressed in azure robes, his expression stern, radiating an overwhelming presence.

“It’s Lord Han Yue!” a Hidden Sect master exclaimed.

Han Yue, one of the Four Elders of the Hidden Sect in Qingstone City, was a formidable warrior at the eighth level of the Innate Realm. His arrival brought a wave of pressure upon everyone present.

“You’re quite arrogant, kid!” Han Yue said coldly, approaching Yun Qianbai. “Do you know the consequences of causing trouble on Hidden Sect grounds?”

“Consequences?” Yun Qianbai’s lips curled into a mocking smile. “All I know is that today, your Hidden Sect is in for a big disaster!”

Han Yue laughed heartily. “Such bold words! Let’s see what you’re capable of to say that!”

Then he suddenly struck out with a palm infused with eighty percent of his power, astonishing in force.

Yun Qianbai’s eyes flickered with seriousness but he did not retreat. Instead, he met Han Yue’s palm wind with a punch.

“Bang!”

A tremendous sound echoed as their attacks collided, unleashing a powerful shockwave that forced everyone nearby to stagger back.

“Hmm?” Han Yue’s eyes flashed with surprise. “You actually managed to withstand my palm? Seems I underestimated you.”

“Those who underestimate me usually meet a bad end,” Yun Qianbai retorted coldly.

“Is that so?” Han Yue sneered. “Then let me see what you can really do!”

With that, he attacked again, even more fiercely this time, every move laced with lethal intent.

Yun Qianbai met him head-on, the two locked in an intense battle, neither yielding an inch.

“That kid can actually hold his own against Lord Han Yue?” a Hidden Sect master exclaimed in shock.

“Incredible!” another echoed.

Suddenly, Yun Qianbai realized his system could absorb the toxins emitted from Han Yue’s attacks.

“What’s going on?” he thought in alarm. “Could it be that Han Yue’s strikes contain poison?”

Upon reflection, the truth became clear: Han Yue’s cultivation technique was likely a poisonous art, and Yun Qianbai’s system could absorb these toxins, converting them into his own strength.

“Ha! Heaven truly helps me!” Yun Qianbai rejoiced inwardly. “Han Yue, today you’re destined to become my stepping stone!”

With renewed vigor, he unleashed his full power, activating his system to absorb the toxins in Han Yue’s attacks.

As the poison was absorbed, Yun Qianbai’s power swelled, while the damage Han Yue inflicted diminished.

“This can’t be!” Han Yue grew increasingly alarmed. “How is he getting stronger the more we fight?”

“Han Yue, your time has come!” Yun Qianbai shouted, throwing a punch charged with all his might and the power of the absorbed toxins.

“No!” Han Yue cried in terror, attempting to evade, but it was too late.

“Bang!”

A thunderous impact sent Han Yue flying, slamming heavily into the wall, blood spilling from his mouth as he lay motionless.

“Lord Han Yue!”

“How dare you injure Lord Han Yue! You’re finished!”

“Everyone, attack! Kill him!”

The Hidden Sect members roared in fury and surged toward Yun Qianbai.

“A bunch of ants, yet you dare act arrogantly before me?” Yun Qianbai sneered, vanishing into the crowd once more.

“Bang! Bang! Bang!”

The sounds of fists and feet rang out as Hidden Sect masters fell one after another, moaning in pain.

“Anyone else?” Yun Qianbai asked coldly, surveying the scene.

Silence fell. All were cowed by his overwhelming power.

“This kid is a monster!” one Hidden Sect master whispered in fear.

“Terrifying!” another agreed.

After Han Yue was knocked unconscious, Yun Qianbai intended to finish him off and eliminate the threat.

Just as he was about to strike, a formidable aura descended sharply, causing him to tense and abandon his attack, retreating swiftly.

At the entrance appeared three figures—the other three of Qingstone City’s Hidden Sect Four Elders: Zhang Haolong, eighth level Innate Realm; Jin Ziyang, eighth level Innate Realm; and Yi Haoran, tenth level Innate Realm.

Seeing them, Yun Qianbai felt a surge of helplessness.

Each was far stronger than him alone, not to mention all three together.

“So this is the guy who dared provoke our Hidden Sect?” Zhang Haolong sized up Yun Qianbai with disdain. “Doesn’t look like much.”

“A fourth-level Innate Realm waste like you dares to act arrogantly before us?” Jin Ziyang sneered. “You have no idea what’s coming.”

Yi Haoran looked at Yun Qianbai with amusement, as if inspecting an intriguing toy. “Kid, you’ve got guts to mess with our people.”

They did not attack immediately but knelt beside the fallen Han Yue to check his condition.

“What a waste!” Zhang Haolong kicked Han Yue. “Can’t even beat a fourth-level Innate Realm weakling, and you want to compare yourself with us three? Pathetic.”

“Dead yet?” Jin Ziyang crouched, feeling Han Yue’s breath. “Still breathing, but barely.”

“Better if he’s dead, saves us the embarrassment,” Yi Haoran said dismissively.

They utterly disregarded Yun Qianbai, speaking arrogantly and behaving with extreme insolence.

Yun Qianbai remained silent, eyes scanning for an escape route.

He knew with his current strength, he stood no chance against these three.

“Hey, kid, what are you looking at?” Zhang Haolong noticed Yun Qianbai’s gaze and mocked, “Looking for a way out?”

“Don’t waste your effort,” Jin Ziyang sneered. “Today, you won’t escape.”

“What’s the use of talking to a dying man?” Yi Haoran said impatiently. “Let’s finish him off!”

“Wait.” Suddenly, Ye Dong spoke up. “Gentlemen, give me some face and let’s call this off today, shall we?”

“Ye the Third?” Yi Haoran raised an eyebrow. “What, you want to protect him?”

“Not protect exactly. Just don’t want a death here,” Ye Dong smiled. “After all, this is my turf.”

“Your turf?” Zhang Haolong snorted. “Ye the Third, don’t forget you’re also with the Supernatural Alliance! Our Hidden Sect’s affairs are none of your business.”

“Exactly!” Jin Ziyang agreed. “Ye the Third, you’d better be sensible and not bring trouble upon yourself.”

Ye Dong’s expression shifted slightly, surprised by their disrespect.

“What, Ye the Third, are you going to make a move?” Yi Haoran’s eyes glinted coldly. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you—your power is nothing before us.”
