Chen Fan quickly swung his diamond sword to hack it to death, while the remaining spiders kept attacking. Dodging continuously, Chen Fan fought back with steady swings of his sword.

Before long, all the remaining spiders were eliminated.

Suddenly, Chen Fan felt his head spin violently. He shook his dizzy head and hurriedly pulled a bucket of milk from his inventory to cure the poison.

It took a while for him to recover, and the dizzy sensation gradually faded away.

Chen Fan picked up the items on the ground, placed a torch on the wall, and walked toward the supply chest.

Upon opening the chest, he found 3 iron ingots, some gold ingots, and various miscellaneous items. Another chest contained 3 beetroot seeds and 1 chili seed.

Chen Fan already had plenty of seeds at home, most of which had been multiplied using bonemeal.

Finding different seeds here probably meant that this world featured a culinary craft mod, which explained the presence of various unique seeds.

After collecting all the items, he did not dismantle the spider spawner.

Instead, he placed a wooden plank on the ceiling outside to mark its location, intending to bring Ram and the others back here to farm it next time.

Taking the stairs to the third floor, he found that the only monsters on this level were zombies.

Therefore, he cleared this floor effortlessly, collecting some iron ingots and gunpowder.

When Chen Fan made his way down the stairs to the fourth floor, he spotted a creature emitting a faint ghostly glow standing not far away in the dark space.

Its silhouette looked somewhat like a Charged Creeper. Instead of rushing over immediately, he first placed torches all around.

In the flickering light of the torches, its appearance became vaguely discernible.

Yes, it was indeed one!

This Charged Creeper was exceptionally large, standing two to three meters tall.

At that moment, the Charged Creeper slowly turned its head, its pitch-black eyes filled with a murderous aura.

"Holy crap!" Chen Fan exclaimed.

The health of a Charged Creeper was not just the mere 20 points from vanilla Minecraft; its health here was a staggering 200 points, classifying it as a common-tier BOSS.

Chen Fan stepped backward slowly. This was no game—being blasted by this thing would reduce him to atomic dust instantly.

By now, the Charged Creeper had spotted him and came charging swiftly toward Chen Fan on its four short legs.

Without a second thought, Chen Fan turned tail and ran. When he reached the third floor, he immediately sealed off the stairway with cobblestone.

"I wonder if that trick will work?" he muttered to himself, looking at the blocked stairway.

After a moment of thought, Chen Fan started building. He surrounded the stairway entrance with a ring of cobblestone, finally leaving a one-block gap at the front.

Then, he crouched down and mined away the cobblestone blocking the stairs.

The Charged Creeper instantly waddled up, slamming its head straight into the wall.

"Hehe, let's see you blow me up now," Chen Fan flashed a mischievous grin.

With that, he pulled out his bow, crouching on the ground, and began shooting at the Creeper's little feet visible through the hole.

Arrow after arrow flew from Chen Fan's hands, each one striking the Charged Creeper's legs with pinpoint accuracy.

Every hit sparked a flash of ghostly blue light.

This drove the Charged Creeper nuts, and it struggled furiously within the tight space,

emitting low, rumbling growls as it tried to smash the wall blocking its path.

Unfortunately, it had no hands and couldn't mine blocks the way zombies did.

Chen Fan kept firing away with his hands while chanting, "That'll teach you to chase me. Watch how I shoot you to death."

However, the Charged Creeper wasn't going down that easily. It suddenly backed up a few steps and then lunged forward, slamming its head hard against the obstacle.

With a loud *bang*,

the powerful shockwave made the surrounding cobblestone blocks tremble slightly, and a few even developed cracks.

"Damn, that thing packs a punch!" Chen Fan said, his heart still pounding as he increased his shooting frequency.

By now, the Charged Creeper was frantically headbutting the cobblestone wall with reckless abandon. The cracks on the wall multiplied, looking as though they were about to give way at any second.

Just at the critical moment, Chen Fan loosed an arrow, and simultaneously, the wall shattered.

As the arrow pierced the Charged Creeper's ankle, its remaining 8 health points instantly dropped to zero.

The Charged Creeper's body shuddered violently before it slowly collapsed, dissolving into white mist in mid-air.

It left behind a glowing enchanted book, a piece of enchanted armor, several pieces of gunpowder, 1,000 gold coins, and a massive amount of experience points.

Excitedly, Chen Fan scrambled up from the ground, stashed the items into his inventory, and checked the stats of the enchanted book and the gear.

[Iron Leggings: Protection I, Projectile Protection III]

Chen Fan was overjoyed, never expecting a common BOSS to be defeated so easily.

He recalled how defeating the spider BOSS earlier had required a grueling battle of attrition involving several people.

Sometimes, outsmarting the enemy was still the best approach.

After taking a short break to restore some hunger and thirst, he continued his advance toward the fourth floor.

Stepping back onto the fourth floor, Chen Fan proceeded with extreme caution, thinking that if he ran into "love" right around the corner,

it truly would be the definition of "thrilling"!

Yet, he had overthought it; this floor only contained a single Charged Creeper with no other monsters in sight.

After searching the area and confirming nothing else was around, Chen Fan headed down the spiral staircase.

As soon as he stepped onto the fifth floor, a wave of foul, rotting stench hit him, and countless pairs of watchful eyes seemed to be hidden in the dim space.

Chen Fan frowned, gripped his diamond sword alertly, and pushed forward slowly.

Suddenly, a few low, guttural snorts rang out, startling him and causing him to frantically scan his surroundings.

Not far away around a corner, a dozen Zombie Pigmen rushed out, the gold swords in their hands flashing coldly in the faint light.

Chen Fan knew the characteristics of Zombie Pigmen very well: not only do they have high attack power, but if you attack even one of them, the entire surrounding mob will swarm you together.

A flash of inspiration hit him, and he took out the dozen or so spider webs he had collected on the second floor, quickly setting up a simple speed-reduction trap 2 blocks wide and 1 block high right in front of him.

Anyone who had ever played Minecraft knew how annoying spider webs could be.

With the trap set, Chen Fan sat back and waited for the Zombie Pigmen to arrive. These Zombie Pigmen had 40 health points.

Roaring angrily, the Zombie Pigmen charged toward Chen Fan, but many of them got tangled in the spider webs, their speed slowing to a crawl.

Chen Fan grinned evilly, brandishing his diamond sword as he hacked away. Every slash against the Zombie Pigmen sent splashes of blood flying into the air.

Seeing that it was about enough, he turned and ran in the opposite direction; he needed to find the spawner first, or the killing would never end.

Before taking two steps, Chen Fan spotted the spawner, located right in the very first room past the stairs down.

If he hadn't explored this place first, he might never have known its location.

After all, spawners were normally found in the deepest recesses or right by the next staircase.

After completely sealing off the spawner, Chen Fan returned to his previous spot to finish off the remaining Zombie Pigmen and then re-collected his spider webs.

Back at the treasure chests, he rubbed his hands together excitedly. Inside the two supply chests were:

1 diamond horse armor, 1 saddle, 5 gunpowder, 1 golden apple, 5 apples, and various miscellaneous items.

Chen Fan frowned slightly, thinking to himself that after exploring all five floors, while the loot was decent, shouldn't there at least be some diamonds and emeralds?

Just as he was about to head back, passing a corner, he unexpectedly discovered a staircase leading down to the sixth floor.

Chen Fan was filled with confusion. How could this dungeon have yet another path leading further down?

Driven by intense curiosity, he slowly walked over.

Suddenly, a strange noise echoed into his ears, sounding exceptionally eerie in the silent dungeon.
