With that, he closed his fan and struck the doll with a palm.

The doll wobbled, falling partially to the ground before bouncing back.

The scholar then continued with fists and kicks, leaving several footprints on the doll.

After this bout of combat, the scholar vented his anger.

Finally, he tore off the “treason” label, signifying the punishment was dealt.

Treasoners suffer such harsh blows, showing that this fate is no better than deserved.

After the pale scholar, an elderly man with white hair took the stage. He looked at the roly-poly doll, on which “great rebellion” was posted, and sighed, “Ah, after searching so long, I’ve finally found you.”

The old man regarded the doll with a complicated expression: “One must not commit so many acts of defiance. You cannot tear down temples meant for blessings; when meeting elders, you must show respect; when addressing ancestors, proper titles must be used. I won’t hit you much—just slap yourself twice, promise never to do such things again, and this matter will be settled.”

He stared at the doll for a long moment, which remained motionless.

Suddenly, he gathered strength and kicked the doll hard to the ground, relieving some of his pent-up anger and punishing the doll for the great rebellion.

Before leaving, he picked up the “great rebellion” placard and tore it to bits, demonstrating that such crimes have no good end.

“First stage passed!” The recruiters together put the doll back in place.

By now, the doll no longer displayed the arrogant and righteous demeanor it had before.

Next, the words “wickedness” were pasted on the doll.

The crime of wickedness was not easy to handle.

This time, a burly man with a beard appeared. Facing the doll, he hesitated, then pointed at it as if it were an errant younger brother: “You… can’t handle a few words? One must not be so evil or reckless. You’re meant for great things and must keep control; don’t become a disgrace…”

With that, the bearded man, exasperated, raised his hand to strike but ended up lightly slapping his own face, blaming himself for poor discipline.

He then removed the “wickedness” label, marking the punishment done.

This contender was the leader of the Great Power Gang, whose heartfelt performance earned the recruiters’ admiration and approval to pass the stage.

Several other gang members appeared, facing the words “immorality” on the doll but failing to articulate any reason.

When Chen Chen took the stage, the doll bore the label “immorality.” Chen treated the doll as a sinner of immorality: “How can someone so young be so thoughtless, acting recklessly every day with no sense of right or wrong? If this continues, in a few years you’ll understand your mistakes. Today, I’ll teach you what it means to be a proper person.”

With that, Chen struck the doll’s face with a palm—the blow landing on those who act on impulse without reason or principle.

“First stage passed!” The recruiters declared, and Chen Chen passed the first phase, becoming one of the DD enforcers.

Afterward, the Great Power Gang’s second-in-command somehow secured an exceptional place on the DD enforcer recruitment team.

He looked at the doll labeled “great disrespect” and said, “Listen here, show some respect when speaking to an elder like me. Even if you are older, you can’t be so disrespectful.”

The gang’s second-in-command lightly patted the doll’s shoulder, tore off the “great disrespect” label, and walked away gracefully.

“First stage passed! We’ll notify you when your assignment comes,” said one of the recruiters, approving the second-in-command’s successful application.

Next to apply was an elderly woman. Although the doll remained sturdy, after several rounds of attacks it seemed shaky, even covered with a few medicinal plasters on its face.

This time the label on the doll read “unfilial.”

The old woman approached and unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks on the doll. Among unfilial acts, having no descendants is the gravest.

To be human, the greatest unfilial sin is failing to continue one’s lineage.

The woman’s blows aimed to awaken the offspring, urging them not to remain self-satisfied or aloof, unwilling to mingle with the world.

The saying “water too clear, no fish; person too pure, no friends” remains a widely accepted truth.

For many years, this phrase has shielded many who secretly pride themselves on their moral superiority, unaware that in a turbulent world, purity to the point of having no friends means no lifelong companions, no descendants to carry on the family.

After the woman left, Chen Chen’s whereabouts became unknown.

The recruiters took note of the matter. The label “unfilial” was removed and burned.

“Unfilial conduct falls upon every parent’s shoulders. This is not a task for one person alone but requires all parents worldwide to supervise and discipline their children.”

Among the ten great evils, seven have already found suitable candidates; three remain: discord, unrighteousness, and internal chaos.

These last three evils have many applicants as well, though Chen Chen has since been more of an observer.

Finally, three others were chosen as successful DD enforcers for these sins.

Of course, targets of DD enforcement undergo a strict review process—official approval, law enforcement vetting, and multiple moral evaluations must confirm whether the person deserves punishment.

After these events, matters finally settled for the time being.

Each of the ten great evils deserves serious attention, for the reason one is unforgivable often corresponds to a great downfall.

No family, clan, or nation wishes to suffer the ruin brought by these ten great evils, which spell the beginning of extinction for a people.

Only by minimizing such individuals can families retain hope, ethnic groups endure, and nations survive.
